At the end of our consult, we’ll put together a proposal that includes everything that we’ve talked about and some personalized recommendations. After you’ve booked your call, this is the fun part! We normally have these consultations via Zoom or in person if you’re local to the DC Metro area. Bring your photos, inspiration, ideas, sketches or fabric samples; all the elements that give you inspiration for your stationery! With your designer, we’ll go over the details of project time line, what to expect, and concepts.
Based on our consultation, our designer gets to work creating one of a kind & unique concepts for your event. From mood boards, to color stories, to event branding, all the way up to 3-4 proofs for you to choose from.
We go through approximately 3 rounds of revisions before the design suite is approved for press & then we move into production.
Once your design is approved and you’re in love with your specially designed suite; your stationery goes into production. Every Invitation suite is handled in house and inspected to ensure quality control and that you everything is precise and perfect.

The A. Louise Bespoke process can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks. A lot of factors go into designing and creating your custom stationery. Everything here is assembled by hand, and inspected to ensure that each invitation, program, gift, and tag is at it’s highest level of excellence before it’s shipped to you. A. Louise D.C. Bespoke pricing is exactly that… bespoke. Another way to say it is, pricing is based on your requirements, addons, materials, print style, and quantity. Since there are so many options and different ways that your stationery can be designed, I’d advise you schedule a consultation with A. Louise to hone in on your vision & then you can receive a custom quote.
Ok, so you’ve just started planning or you just got engaged. FANTASTIC!!! Honestly, any time is a good time to speak with me. A Bridal or event consultation includes coming up with a timeline for reconnecting and mapping out your budget & ideas. Even if “now” isn’t the best time to start your order, it’s a great time to gather ideas so you’ll have a handle on everything else.
